Singer-songwriter Andy Rogers’ most recent project involved recording the 3,000-year-old songs of a refugee in an Irish cave. How could we incorporate that into the Fleadh?
We thought the choir area of a church might be the closest we could get to resemble a cave! So we hired St. Mary’s Church of Ireland Newry and asked him to share his material there.
He brought along local lad Fra Sands to play some tunes, too. It was atmospheric and thought-provoking. Here’s a compilation of some of the songs.
